Galeria was founded from a group of international service and hospitality entrepreneurs whose background in classical performing arts and culinary arts were inspired to offer great food and great art, giving artists a place to showcase their work.

Knowing the culture in Baldwin Park they wanted to give customers a delightful mix of both.

Galeria takes pride in being a part of the urban lifestyle along beautiful Lake Baldwin. Inside, in addition to wonderful artwork, you will wine and dine enjoying an eclectic variety of premium Steaks, Chops, Seafood and Salads prepared with the freshest ingredients, artistically named and presented.

The menu here includes vegan and gluten-free dishes as well. The lunch menu contains smaller plates consisting of assorted meats and cheeses, shrimp bites, thick-cut compart duroc bacon and spinalis sliders.

Delicious Salad choices are named for famous artists such as Peter Thorpe, Claude Monet, Peter Paul Rubens and Mabel Alvarez and are all made to order with the option of chicken, grilled shrimp or steak.

Burgers and Sandwiches are also available and there are Flats of the Day. Small plates and salads are also available for dinner along with main courses.

Featured items include a Center Cut Ribeye, Dry Aged Compart Duroc NY strip steak, Filet Mignon, Tomahawk Steak, Roasted Airline Chicken, Dry Aged Compart Duroc Pork Chops, Seasonal Fish plate, Eggplant Steak and Pasta dishes.

The Dali Salad consists of Crunchy red romaine hearts, applewood smoked blue cheese, blistered tomatoes and house crumbled bacon. This is great to share, or have as a salad dish all for yourself.

The Bacon Flight consists of Thick Cut Duroc Bacon with a jerked agave Sriracha glaze, a dazed and glazed maple chipotle sauce and Bacon Jam. ...and it's simply amazing!

The Spinalis Sliders were a favorite, and simply delicious.  Spinalis steaks are the cap of the ribeye and have all the flavor and marbling. The Sliders here start with espresso rubbed spinalis and are topped with caramelized onions, arugula and a Wasabi Cucumber Sriracha aioli served on Hawaiian Slider buns.

The Pallet at Galeria Restaurant is a great starter that includes assorted dried meats, cheeses, sun dried tomatoes, grilled artichokes, grilled house bread, pickled onions, grilled mushrooms and a balsamic glaze.

The Van Gough is a Large and in Charge Tomahawk Steak that can feed Four. Topped with melted garlic butter, this an impressive cut of steak, that will feed four easily!

Chocolate Cheesecake with peanut butter filled cheese cake in a hard outer shell of chocolate will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Here is another great dessert, a Chocolate Cake with Fudge, and yes the spoon was edible.

Galeria's location is truly one of a kind, with great food, service and location all in one, overlooking Lake Baldwin, and all of the Artwork inside is for sale.

Galeria is open Mon: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Tue - Fri: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm, Sat - Sun: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, and then from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

The property recently renovated David’s Club, a spirited gathering place to enjoy a cocktail before dinner. Known for their bourbons, crafts and cuts, David’s Club is the place to enjoy a spectacular steak and innovative cuisine in an upscale sports bar that features a 90-inch video wall, and spectacular resort views.

At ZEN, diners can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, sake and a sushi bar. Asian-themed privacy screens create separate dining areas for intimate meals and gatherings. A private dining room is available upon request.

Trevi’s will delight your senses with the aroma of fresh bread and Italian dishes with hand made pasta. Trevi’s serves delicious meals throughout the day starting with the Art of Breakfast Buffet. Family-style options are available during dinner. You can enjoy indoor dining in the cozy restaurant or the ambient atmosphere of dining outdoors in Trevi's Terrazza.

This was an excellent take on Asian Fusion served up at ZEN, with a traditional French Duck Confit served up in an Asian Bao seasoned with Asian 5 Spice and Pickled Vegetables.

This was a very refreshing cocktail with Hendricks Gin, Cucumbers and fresh fruits. Anywhere at this resort, fabulous cocktails can be found, as well as an extensive wine list.

A most excellent antipasto dish at Trevi's with Heirloom Tomatoes, Burrata, Micro Greens and Prosciutto.

I was sold at the words... “Sous-Vide Lobster”, but pairing that with an amazing hand made pasta, available at Trevi's was masterful and delicious.

At David’s Club we were treated to slices of a Tomahawk Ribeye, all beef here is 30 day wet-aged Creekstone Farms Angus beef.


Finally we ended our evening with this delicious, light flavorful mascarpone cheesecake.

All 720 guest rooms and suites of the main resort will be renovated during summer of 2020. Updates will include all furnishings, fixtures, carpets, paint, bathroom wall covering, vanity, mirrors, artwork, draperies, and linens.

In addition to world-class golf, the resort offers a signature spa and sparkling pools, making it the perfect getaway for adults and children alike. With easy access to area attractions like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld, you can enjoy all that Orlando has to offer and then retire to a secluded retreat.

Keep an eye out here, as we will be revisiting this wonderful resort and checking out the renovated guest rooms in the not too distant future.

New Spring Menu Items at American Kitchen

American Kitchen Bar & Grill is an open concept restaurant serving New American cuisine that is responsibly sourced and globally inspired. 

AK takes an artisan approach to cooking and preparation of everything on the menu with an emphasis on local ingredients, including herbs and greens that are harvested out of the restaurant’s living garden, i.e. a 1950’s red pick-up truck.

From house made pastas and cheese to cured and smoked meats, the menu is a dynamic tasting experience, especially when paired with hand crafted cocktails and specialty wines. Iv’e always been a fan of Chef Venoy Rogers and even his Sous Chef Jacob Rios, as they put a lot of heart and detail in they food they create.

“My philosophy in the kitchen is to have fun with food and express myself from the heart,” Chef Rogers said. “To make good food you need great ingredients.”

Recently I was invited to a Spring Menu Sampling at AK, and of course everything was extraordinary. We sampled a variety of shareable starters, mains, a huge Tomahawk Rib eye, Dessert and a few glasses of wine.

The House made Bread at American Kitchen is simply fantastic, but the Umami Butter just made it that much better.

Part one of the Small Bites Tour featured Carne Con Queso Egg Rolls, Tempura Avocado and Glazed Fried Shrimp Bites. 

Part two of the Small Bites Tour was served with a sampling of Grilled Buffalo Wings, Fried Chicken Oyster and wonderfully delicious Korean Glazed Pork Ribs.

I really enjoyed The Florida Old Fashioned made with St. Augustine Distillery Florida Straight Bourbon, Bitter Truth Old Time Aromatic, Cherries and Orange.

The Smoked Fried Chicken sandwich at American Kitchen is always delicious, served with house aioli, coleslaw, pickled onions and pickles on a sesame seed bun, but the side of fries served in a miniature shopping cart was just too damn cute!

Beet Root Ravioli was simply awesome made with house made beet and ricotta ravioli, locally sourced goat cheese, toasted pine nuts, beet soil, and citrus. 

East Coast Bouillabaisse was another great example of the creativity and diversity of Chef Venoy and his staff. This is made with locally sourced whitefish, Florida rock shrimp, scallops, mussels, Peruvian potatoes, lobster broth and crunchy garlic bread. 

The 120 day Dry Aged Certified Angus Beef Tomahawk Ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium and was mouthwatering served with Three Potato Gratin, Smokehouse Mushrooms and the whole bone separated.

We finished the evening with The Candy Bar, a house made bourbon vanilla nougat with milk chocolate, toasted hazelnuts and edible gold shavings. This was Chef Venoy’s interpretation of a gourmet snickers bar and it was incredible.

The food here is always amazing. Chef Venoy and Rios do an amazing job, and Chef Venoy is a great talent in the kitchen. I've always been a fan of American Kitchen, and am a firm believer in the skill set of the kitchen and the staff here.

It is time however, for the B Resort and Spa to make the necessary changes to update the inside of the restaurant and move on from the old American Q days and give Chef Venoy and his staff an inside that matches the artistry and skill set of the food they serve up here.

I can neither can confirm nor deny that those said changes may be on the way shortly.


American Kitchen is open Monday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
