South Beach Wine & Food Festival Returns to Eat, Drink and Educate for 2018

The 17th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF®) returns to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. February 21st – 25th, 2018.

One of America’s most prestigious gourmet gatherings, the Festival has raised more than $26 million to date for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University (FIU).

This year’s edition will feature more than 90 events, including signature fan-favorite soirées, an array of new parties and intimate dining experiences, expanded CRAVE Greater Fort Lauderdale Series, and much more.

The 17th annual Tribute Dinner presented by Bank of America part of The NYT Cooking Dinner Series gets a fresh new format this year, with a star-studded line-up of more than a dozen chefs cooking at this walk-around affair in honor of restaurateur, author and beloved Food Network personality Bobby Flay and Treasury Wine Estates managing director and chief executive officer Michael Clarke.

Top-rated radio host Elvis Duran will serve as the emcee during this not-to-be-missed evening taking place at Loews Miami Beach Hotel on Saturday, February 24th, 2018. Also new this year, the celebration will continue at Sweet Moves: Late-Night Desserts & Dancing hosted by Bobby & Sophie Flay with beats by lifestyle guru and popular DJ Hannah Bronfman.

Iconic Miami Beach events continue to evolve and tantalize the taste buds of passionate fans from around the world, kicking off with Italian Bites on the Beach sponsored by HCP Media and the Miami Herald Media Company hosted by Giada De Laurentiis.

The beloved Heineken Light Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons gets a new twist this year, with resident Food Network Rockstar Guy Fieri serving as its host.

The third annual CRAVE Greater Fort Lauderdale Series returns with an all-star schedule of events in Broward County, including:

● Signature Wine Seminars presented by Bank of America, a BBQ Dinner hosted by Chris Lilly and Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Chef Jorge Ramos and Clambake hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Jorge Ramos; all taking place at the brand-new Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach.

● The introduction of the Festival’s fan-favorite Lucky Chopsticks hosted by Andrew Zimmern and a Rooftop Rosé Happy Hour hosted by television star, jewelry and shoe designer, True Roots cookbook author and all-around lifestyle guru Kristin Cavallari - who is also a new part-time fixture on the South Florida scene thanks to the addition of husband Jay Cutler to the city’s beloved Miami Dolphins – at the W Fort Lauderdale.

Tickets are now on sale for Cocoa Beach Uncorked, an all new food, wine and craft beer festival launching from the sunny shores of Florida’s Space Coast.

The highly anticipated two day festival will take place June 3-4 on the beach at Alan Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach, a favorite gathering spot for viewing space launches and surfing icons.

More gastronomical than astronomical, Uncorked Cocoa Beach will celebrate Central Florida’s most renowned chefs, restaurants, and breweries in a culinary showcase served with 180-degree Atlantic Ocean views. The event is the east coast sister of the popular Clearwater Beach Uncorked, now in its sixth year and well established as one of the best food, wine and beer festivals on Florida’s west coast.

“Cocoa Beach is the perfect location to launch our new taste fest and showcase the finest food, wine, craft brews and other fabulous culinary treasures of Florida’s east coast,” said Tammy Gail, event producer. “We’re bringing together people with a shared interest for what will be an unforgettable weekend for attendees, partners and exhibitors alike. I fully expect Uncorked Cocoa Beach to be a sellout.”

Celebrating its first year in Florida’s Space Coast, Cocoa Beach Uncorked will play host to foodies, wine lovers and craft beer aficionados who long to wiggle their toes in the sand as they enjoy some of the area’s most delectable offerings.

A 20,000 square foot Grand Tasting Tent will feature a vast array of mouthwatering taste experiences for discerning palettes. A percentage of event revenue will benefit Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association and the Brevard County Humane Society. 

In addition to the Grand Tasting Village, the two-day event will feature a variety of VIP and interactive experiences, tastings, cooking demonstrations, and competitions between some of the area’s most notable and award winning chefs and restaurants.

Clearwater Beach Uncorked is a two day food, wine and craft beer festival that draws thousands of attendees to Florida's award winning Clearwater Beach. Before joining the Aprons program in 2002, James spent a number of years honing his culinary skills at some of southwest Florida’s most acclaimed restaurants. As the resident chef of Aprons Sarasota location, he has had the pleasure of working with some of the world’s finest chefs and winemakers and continues to pass along his own passion for food to all of his students, both young and old.
Anthony LogerfoPublix Aprons Cooking School 
Anthony LoGerfo joined Aprons Cooking School in October 2010. Coming from an Italian background, food and family have always been a big part of his life. In 1991, Anthony graduated from the French Culinary studying under the world-renowned Master Chef, Jaques Pepin, where he learned the most important lessons about traditional French cuisine. After three short years with Publix, Anthony has been promoted to Resident Chef. Still sharing his passion for food, culinary knowledge, and expertise so that you too can learn to have fun in the kitchen.
Emily EllynFood Network Star and Cutthroat Kitchen Winner

Emily Ellyn is best known as the Retro Rad Chef from Food Network; appearing on Food Network Star,Cupcake Wars and most recently as the winner of Cutthroat Kitchen.She’s also a culinary educator and food writer, who writes for edible and BAR magazines and lectures at the University of Central Florida. When she’s not busy writing or finishing her PhD. in Food Service Education, you’ll find Emily in her trademark cat-eyed glasses, cooking up fun at food and spirits events around the world.
Joseph DiPaoloDuncan Hines

Chef DiPaolo and his team, have full research and development responsibility for some of America’s most loved grocery brands including Duncan Hines cake mixes and frostings, Comstock-Wilderness fruit and pie fillings,Vlasic pickles and Mrs. Butterworth’s and Log Cabin syrups. Chef DiPaolo holds a Baking and Pastry Degree from the Culinary Institute of America and is a member of the Retail Bakers Association.

Ticket Pricing & Inclusions – Tickets are priced at $65 per person, per day for general admission and $95 per person, per day for VIP.
New VIP Experiences – Guests who purchase a VIP ticket will enjoy a new VIP Beach Brunch taking place from noon to 1 p.m. each day before the main event opens its doors. Brunch includes muffins, munchies, mimosas and more. A VIP ticket also includes access to a VIP tent on the beach throughout the day, with an exclusive set-up of reserve wines, bubbles and light bites.

Enhanced Line-up of Interactive Experiences – Marking its anniversary, the 2016 Clearwater Beach Uncorked will feature an even greater line-up of food and drinks, courtesy of new sponsors and vendors.
